Subject	Removing stub axles from diff(searched)???

Message	I am in the process of replacing both the front seal and side seals on my R230 diff. The axles are unbolted and pushed to the side but I can't seem to get the stub axles to budge from the diff. Should they just pop out by hand? Some in search say there is a c-clip that must be removed by access of the rear cover...others say there is no clip. Any tips or instructions are appreciated.
